The State Government's Melbourne 2030 Plan has meant that higher density living will occur close to public transport routes. Any residents close to transport hubs, will be inundated by developers wanted to build multistorey apartment dwellings in quiet suburban streets.
The tranquil and leafy suburb of Boronia is one such place. Lond standing residents will have 3 storey, even 4-storey apartments built next to their single storey dwellings. Please help us stop this greedy money grab by developers and Council, and keep the streets of Boronia as they are.
Thank you.

Knox Planning Scheme Amendment C62: Implementation of the Boronia Structure Plan
The petitioners therefore request that the Legislative Assembly of Victoria reject the Knox Planning Scheme Amendment C62 and continue to apply the 7.5 meter (2 storey) building height limit, the Knox City Council approved in October 2006 under the Boronia Structure Plan, to all new developments within the Boronia Activity Centre recently rezoned as Residential 1.
