This petition has been created by members of Lanarkshire ACE who are worried that some proposals by the coalition government to review benefits levels may adversely impact on people with learning disabilities, autism and aspergers. These reviews includes changes to the Disability Living Allowance.
Petition:
We urge the Government to maintain and protect the level of benefits that people with learning disabilities, autism and aspergers receive.
As a learning disability, autism and aspergers are lifelong conditions, we require this income to achieve and maintain a reasonable quality of life.
We trust that you will honour your pledge to protect the most vulnerable people in society.
