Save Le Corbusier's Chandigarh

A huge thank you for everyone who helped the campaign to preserve Le Corbusier's architecture at Chandigarh by signing this petition. Manmohan Nath Sharma, who is leading the campaign, says he is "truly grateful" to you all for participating in an "amazingly impressive" petition that has "drawn worldwide attention" to Save Le Corbusier's Chandigarh.
We, the undersigned, call on the Indian government to take action to prevent the destruction of Le Corbusier’s architectural vision for Chandigarh by:
- lobbying the United Nations for Chandigarh to be admitted to the list of World Heritage Sites
- imposing tighter controls on the removal of public property from Chandigarh
Chandigarh is an architectural treasure, a Le Corbusier masterpiece and a source of Indian national pride that should be cherished, not neglected.
