We the undersigned, as parents of the up and coming future soccer stars in Limpopo, hereby request that the 'Tyre Rack Soccer League Commitee' review the League Match playing times.
The current situation is that Soccer league matches are currently being scheduled to be played on Sundays. This, we believe, is due to the league committee being unable to play league matches on a Saturday as they utilise this day for practice. On the other hand, a great majority of other teams, regard Sundays as their day of praise. These teams practice in the week. We find the decision of the Tyre Rack Soccer League is biased.
The result is that we feel that our teams are at a disadvantage as many players are following their respective religions on this day and will not be able to attend and represent their teams in these very important matches.
What we believe is needed in this situation is to review the playing times in order come to an agreement between all of us in order to promote our children in the sport of soccer regardless of religious, ethnic, race aspects they may belong to.
