The road between Funsinagh crossroads and Keshcarrigan is a disgrace. It is cover in rubbish. Plastic bags, dog food cans, household rubbish and evan the odd dirty nappy or two! It is a real put off for people who like walking the scenic root.
These people are locals who, in many cases, have been walking this root for a number of months/ years. It is shame that they a being put off their walk by the amount of rubbish in the ditches and on the road of said route. Iti s even an off putting sight to behold when you are driving past.
The people who are dumping should be brought to justice and if at all possible prosecuted. Justice should prevail and the guilty party/parties should not be allowed off the hook.
We, the undersigned, call on the Leitrim co council to do something about this dumping.
We would like you to do everything in your power to put a stop to this distasteful dumping. If you provide us with a sign or a cctv camera we would know at least all parties concerned and attempt to stop this.
