The Community and Public Sector Union – the General Staff Union represents fulltime, fixed term and casual non-academic staff at the UNSW, UNSW affiliated research organisations, UNSW Global, UNSW College of Fine Arts and the Australian Defence Force Academy.
The CPSU has launched an online petition to support our academic colleagues at UNSW in their desire to see a finalisation to your Enterprise Bargaining at UNSW, negotiations which are now in their third year.
• As a member of Academic Staff at the University of NSW, I declare my solidarity with my academic colleagues
• I register my support for the principles of academic independence in research and inquiry, and,
• Call upon the University and Academic Union (NTEU) to finalise bargaining in the interests of all academics.
