For many years there have been parts of Bowthorpe and Earlham that have been poorly maintained.
Across the community, there are weeds growing through pavements, verges that are overgrown and
pathways that are littered with leaves and rubbish that is never collected.
In parts of our community, we have not seen winter maintenance for two years - despite repeated questions and calls for action.
We want to ensure that our footpaths, cycle ways, roads, communal areas and green spaces are properly maintained, for the safety and enjoyment and all.
We, the undersigned, demand Norwich City Council:
* Adopt the unadopted areas of Bowthorpe and Earlham;
* Add adopted but unmaintained areas to the maintenance scheduled as soon as practicably possible, but within the next year;
* Publish details on its website, and in a local medium, when each area is due to be:
(i) adopted;
(ii) added to the maintenance schedule.
