Priest Road gives access to WalMart at West Brackett Road. Heavy traffic on Priest Road endangers Senior citizens who are slow to cross the street, some of whom use walkers, wheelchairs or scooters. There is no traffic light or crosswalk to halt traffic thus creating hazardous conditions for elders. and the handicapped.
The undersigned are requesting that a crosswalk be added at the Priest Road/W Brackett Road crossing. In addition, a sidewalk is badly needed from Vintage at Sequim Apartments on W Brackett Road up to Priest Road where they must cross to get to WalMart.
Seniors are now traveling this road by foot, wheelchair and scooter, endangering their lives and impeding vehicles who are also traveling Brackett Road.
