Target:
Manchester, NH zoning board
Region:
United States of America

The concern of the residents in the surrounding area of the proposed cell phone tower are as follows:

Cell phone towers of this magnitude, clearly reduce real estate values as will be supported by any realtor when asked.

The risk and uncertainty for the health of residents and the school children, at Green Acres Elementary School and McLaughlin Middle School. There now exists a substantial body of published scientific research suggesting the potential harm from new celluar transmissions technology. RF can be especially harmful to children under the age of 13, because a child's skull and tissue absorb more radiation. (Dr. Mehmet OZ, Nov. 20, 2009, Good Morning America.

According to the Telecommunications Act, cell phone towers cannot be banned, but AT&T should exhaust all possibilities and make a conscious effort to be a good neighbor.

We feel that a non residential or non-school zone should be the only allowable placement for any cell tower.

We, the undersigned, call on the zoning board to decline AT&T's variance to build a 100 foot high cell tower at 235 South Mammoth Rd.

In addition, this tower will include 12 antennae panels and possibly a blinking light, due to it's proximity to the airport.

This tower will be in a residential area as well as a school zone of Green Acres Elementary school and McLaughlin Middle School.
