From April 2011 new Government Employmet Law states that all new workers regardless of the size of the employers company will be able to be dismissed within a 90 day period and will not be able to take an unjustified dismissal case.
Government wants all new public sector workers including Police Teachers Nurses Firefighters to be subject to the 90 day trial.Access for Unions will only be allowed into the workplace by approval from Employers
We, the undersigned call on the Government to abolish the 90-Day Trial for new employees who start from April 2011 as it dismisses a workers right for unjustified dismissal to be addressed.
Workers have a right to be protected under the Law and with communication from both parties an agreed Collective Agreement would be a more suitable and amicable outcome for both parties.
