The Federal Avenue Block Club recently organized July 2010. Many issues that concerned residents were discussed and analysed; one of which, the traffic and safety on Shawnee and Kensington Avenues of First Student and random motorist.
We, the residents of the Masten District, respectfully request the intersection of Federal and Shawnee Avenues become a four-way traffic stop.
We feel that the intersection is very unsafe due to parked vehicles obstructing the view of motorist who wish to cross, transit, or turn onto Shawnee Avenue where there are no stop signs.
