This petition is for all the Mothers and Father's out there who have lost a baby due to Miscarriage or Stillbirth to receive better Nhs Care And After Care to all Mothers.
Mothers of still born babies are left on delivery wards. To under go the emotional heartache of hearing the joyous celebration of other families as they welcome to the world their new arrival.
Mothers and fathers of babies lost under 24 weeks left with nothing to remember their babies. As it is classed as a miscarriage.
After care counselling is not always available or there is an extremely long waiting time. Bereaved parents need help.
Medical staff to READ peoples notes to stop the heartache of having to explain over and over again what has happened.
Training on this area to be given to all medical staff.
Medical Staff not to treat patients as Numbers and Targets and to be treated like Human beings with a big of compassion and dignity.
We the undersigned call on the government to change the care received by bereaved parents from the NHS.
Better training for medical staff. Part of which is given to them by bereaved parents.
A system to be put in place on your medical notes so medical staff are aware you have lost a child.
A separate room to be offered for those who request it away from the new mums.
More counsellors made available to help people through their grief.
Paperwork to be updated and given to parents so Funeral arrangements can be made.
The Nhs to offer better after-care to Mothers Emotionally and Physically after the ordeal of giving birth under traumatic circumstances.
Midwives to talk more about Stillborn and Miscarriages and make Parents aware of the risks in each pregnancy.
