A proper UK strategy to applied science to industry has only just to develop with the East London Tech Park whist Germany has had the Fraunhofer Societies since the 1970's.
Although this is a start the UK needs more such Science and Technology Parks in every major city and maybe a Fraunhofer type Society.
Please develop applied science to a greater extent than just the East London Tech Park.
