The government want to raise the cap for tuition fees meaning that universities will be charging £9,000 a year. This is ridiculous and will cause people from poorer backgrounds to be put off education and so living their life in poverty and struggle.
Tuition fees should at least be kept as they are and not be raised! The cuts to universities will also mean that you will pay more for less as the cuts are so many in number, that raising the tuition fees will not mean you get more, but less.
EMA and other maintenance allowances being cut will mean hundreds of thousands of students will not be able to get to college or sixth form causing them to miss out on their education!!!
This petition is to further raise the attention of the abomination of raising tuition fees, cutting from universities and education, and the scrapping of education allowances for families on low income.
This cannot go ahead as it will mean thousands upon thousands will suffer. We will take this to as many people possible showing that we are a democracy, and we do not agree! Sign if you too agree and notify family, friends, tutors anyone you know.
