The Weymouth Housing Authority at LakeView Manor has a pet policy were a person needs to be disabled to have a cat or a dog. The pet policy states that the person seeking a reasonable accommodation needs to have either a doctors letter stating the disability and how the use of the dog or animal will make the person's life better or a letter from Social Security Office.

However, in my case and as I have heard other cases the Weymouth Housing Authority has been making judgement calls on who is and who is not disabled in their opinion without any medical knowledge or background. Weymouth Housing Authority has denied that I even have a disability even though I have submitted doctor letters to them. Weymouth Housing Authority has gone so far as to try to evict me over my dog saying I'm in violation of my lease because I have a dog. The next court hearing is scheduled for December 8, 2010 at 9 am.

We, the undersigned to not have any complaints or issues with Jennifer Beazley having a 85 lbs, 16 year old dog named Lucky.

He is considered a service animal because he is providing her a service of mobility. We, the undersigned call on the Weymouth Housing Authority to allow Jennifer Beazley to keep her dog Lucky.
