Request for a public vote on an 'opt-out' organ donor system

We the undersigned would like the UK government to organise a public vote on the question of whether the UK should introduce an opt-out scheme for organ donation.

We know that a public vote for a policy decision is a very unusual request in the UK but we believe that the government should at least include the public in the decision making process for their own lives.

Also it seems that this particular issue has been stalling for a number of years and many people are dying while we are forced to wait for a decision.
