We are asking that the Chowchilla Elementary School Board and Madera County Board of Supervisors work together to provide the community of fairmead a safe place to play by opening the Fairmead Elementary School playground and field on after school hours.
Fairmead, a small unincorporated town in Madera County has only one small toddler park, no open community facilities and no safe place for kids to play. We are requesting that the school and county board find a solution to keep the school campus available during non-school hours on weekdays and weekends so that residents can make healthy choices and have a place to exercise and come together.
Please help the Fairmead Community come together in a positive way.
Please open the Fairmead Elementary School on the weekend and/or on weekdays during non-school hours.
We would like to see the play field available for community use so our kids and families have a safe place to play.
