Declare State Of Emergency In Abia

Out of the care, duty and love we all owe to our State of origin the citizens of ABIA STATE at home and in the DIASPORA have been called to rise up help contribute to save their State from the looming political, economic and social oblivion it has been facing almost 10 years since Nigeria has returned to an elected civilian democratic governance.

In the time under consideration there is no significant progress in all facets of life or the welfare of the State and her industrious and innovative citizens to the credit of the State Governments. For example ABA, the Enyimba City, once the commercial heart-beat of former Eastern Region of Nigeria, has long lost its importance as it has fallen like a rotten apple in the grips of successive ill-fated unprogressive and peoples alienated State Government machinery.

Law and Order has long broken down in Abia State, Aba has become the greatest refuse heap and dirtiest city in the world. It has become a No-Go-Area.

Armed robbers and kidnappers are terrorizing the population. People are being killed at random. The citizens of the State in the Diaspora are frightened to return or visit their State of origin.

How can such terrible acts of abomination be heaped upon innocent citizens, children, men and women? Old men and women forced to have sex with their children and then raped. Young village girls Kidnapped and taken to the kidnappers den to serve as sex slaves. How can a city like Aba be under siege by outlaws? Yet the Government keeps mute and pretends as if they do not know, bribing and threatening media houses in Abia state not to report the abomination that is suffered my innocent citizens on a daily basis.
The investment in the State has been reduced to zero, as many business people have withdrawn their engagement from the state; people are relocating to neighboring states like Owerri and Porthacourt. Banks, Schools and Markets are all shutdown and crime is on the increase, yet the Governor, the chief security officer of the state is busy pointing fingers and exposing his inability to govern the state while jumping from one political party to another in search of who to rig him into an undeserved second tenure.
Fayose of Ekiti state, and Dariye of Plateau state did not do one-tenth of what is happening in Abia before a State of Emergency was declared in those states.

Why is Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan- Nigerian President dragging his feet? It here a conspiracy to destroy Abia? Conditions Why state of emergency should be declared:
•The Federation is at war;
• The Federation is in imminent danger of invasion or involvement in a state of war;
•There is actual breakdown of public order and public safety in the Federation or any part thereof to such extent as to require extraordinary measures to restore peace and security;
•There is a clear and present danger of an actual breakdown of public order and public safety in the Federation or any part thereof requiring extraordinary measures to avert such danger;
Does Abia State Qualify a STATE OF EMERGENCY? YES.
