Operation GreenHunt is a genocidal operation in the form of a paramilitary offensive launched by Government of India on the native peoples of the Eastern States of India, also known as the Red Corridor. The peoples of these lands are facing grave human rights abuses and are being denied their basic human rights as well as right to self determination.
Thousands have been killed and are being killed, raped and looted by the paramilitary forces of the Govt of India.
Dal Khalsa International appeals to the UK Coalition Govt alongside all those who have signed this petition to pressure India to stop this operation which is nothing short of a genocide. We appeal to the UK coalition govt to question India on its human rights abuses of all minorities which live under India rule, be it the peoples of the red corridor, the Christians, Sikhs, Muslims and Dalits.
Britain has a moral responsibility to make sure India uplholds Human Rights of all. Britain's role in today's world is one of a champion of human rights and it is only right that the Coalition Govt.take the above in to account and take action.
We call on the UK Coalition Government to pressure India to stop Operation GreenHunt and grave abuses of Human Rights in the Eastern States of India. The UK should question India on its human rights record which is appalling compared to International Standards and of EU Nations.
