Big Brother and the Holding Company were already established when Janis Joplin can into the music scene in San Francisco, Ca. Sam Andrew, Peter Albin, James Gurley and Dave Getz had been writing the songs playing the music and are the true reason for Janis Joplin to be in the music business as well as becoming famous and making it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Please help get Big Brother and the Holding Company into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by signing and passing on this petition to everyone you know. Give Big Brother their just deserves. They earned it and are still playing after 40 years.
We the undersigned believe that Big Brother has and was the true inspiration of getting Janis Joplin in the Hall of Fame and we ask the Hall of fame to R.E.S.P.E.C.T. the quality of their music and the fans whom support them by accepting them in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
They have been playing since 1965 until the present day. They wrote the songs and played the music while Janis sang. They deserve to have their seat next to her in the R&R H of F.
