The recent decision by the state of California justice system to reverse and declare the Stolen Valor Act is wrong and should be reversed by the U.S. Supreme Court.
The U.S. Atty's office located in Los Angeles also needs to be notifed that the citizens and veterans of this country will not stand by and allow this recent decision to allow a fake member of our military services to go unpunished.
We, the many families, veterans, current members of our armed forces call on the United States Dept of Justice to appeal the most recent California court case which now states that the Federal Stolen Valor Act is a violation of one's privacy and personal rights.
We call on the members of the criminal court system as well as the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse this California Court of Appeals decision that allowed this offender to go free and wear the uniform of this country with the many military awards he didn't earn that includes the Congressional Medal of Honor.
