Mr. Paterson,
the passing of the vote by the New York Preservation Commission to build a Mosque in ground zero is an outrage for the victims of the 9-11 attacks. 80% of the American population opposes this.
Out of respect for these victims, Coloradans are requesting this be stopped and considered for another area before construction begins. This is disrespectful to most Americans and to the victims of 9-11.
We, the undersigned, "people of Colorado", are asking this construction be halted until a more suitable site can be located in New York or to stop building the Mosque altogether.
