Mayor Dave Schmidt has refused to listen to the residents of the impacted wards of Park Ridge. He refuse's to support the residents and defend the families from the negative health effects of the OMP.
Mayor Schmidt has seen fit to target and fire the now former city manger Mr. Jim Hock and cause the resignation of former alderman Tom Bernick of the 6th ward.
Therefore, we here today - seek his resignation. A unified call for his seat and a fresh start --as well.
Mayor Schmidt refuses to listen and represent the residents to the FAA in the efforts of those impacted from the sleep disturbances, jet fuel emissions and jet noise 24/7. All three remain steadfast in their refusal to assist the kids in seeking a flight Cap and Curfew for the night time flights out of O'Hare. The future of our kids rests in the hands of the Night Time Departure Control Desk and in the pilots that fly these same air routes over our community from 10pm til 7am.
We, the undersigned, call on the Mayor of Park Ridge Dave Schmidt, and the entire city council to step down from their elected positions here in the state of Illinois - city of Park Ridge.
We, the undersigned seek replacement candidate(s) who will listen and support our action plan for Fly Quiet.
We ask that you call on them to demand that they
help us drain the swamp from 505 Butler & down in Springfield and further seek the sunshine that will disinfect our community.
We finally seek to ask that the members of the Park Ridge city council also step down and cease and desisit with her private agenda in her willingness to support the Democratic machine type politics here in PR as well as in Springfield. Their blind faith has caused many us here to loose our homes to the property values, their blind faith has caused our families to endure the night flights. Mayor Schmidt's blind faith to Mayor Daley's machine has finally caused the increase of the jet aircraft and more runways to follow.
