The play equipment at Issy Wyner Reserve, Balmain is not shaded by surrounding trees, nor is it protected in any way from harmful UVR.
A shade sail would allow children to use the play equipment during the hours of 10am and 3pm - when the UVR are the most harmful.
We, the undersigned, request that Leichhardt Municipal Council place a shade sail over the play equipment at Issy Wyner Reserve, Balmain.
