The Minister of Fisheries and Oceans Gail Shea and the Conservative Gov't of Canada is systematically dismantling the a well structured fisheries management plans throughout the coastal communities of Canada.
Management Plans that have been negotiated through co-management with resource stakeholders are being shredded by the Conservatives without regard for those that are adversely affected by this process.
We, the undersigned, call on the Prime Minister Stephen Harper to ask for Gail Shea, Min. of Fisheries & Oceans resignation for the Minister's failure to honour and maintain fisheries management plans that would protect resource and stakeholders of the Canada's fisheries.
Minister Shea has loss the trust of fishermen and fishing communities across Canada with her lack of knowledge on the fishing industry and it's co-management plans.
