School food gets a bad wrap for a reason. Because it's disgusting. Most of the time I don't even eat half of my lunch, it's just too disgusting. Dry stale pretzels, bagels and cream cheese (they refuse to give butter), nearly expired milk, soggy sandwiches, disgusting salad dressing, green corndogs, and so much more.
The teachers don't even eat our food, so let me ask you: Why should we not get as good food as the teachers? We pay for it. They try to convince us to eat healthy, but they don't even sell fruit in the cafeteria. They sell pizza and gaterade and brownies. Even the fruit juice they put in the cookies has more calories then it would with just sugar.
Why should the teachers get real food when we don't?
We add our name to this petition, in hope that schools will serve healthier, real food.
