Background (Preamble):
On March 3rd 2010 during The Throne Speech,it was said that there is a concern about the gender inequality of Canada’s National Anthem. Which leaves Parliament to assess if a more gender-neutral version should be considered.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the Parliament of Canada to not change OUR national anthem.
We, men, women and children believe it shows our countries bravery, how proud we are of what we have done and the freedom we fought for.
