The RSPCA raided Waterways Wildlife park, Gunnedah on the 3rd of February 2010 with film crew in tow and seized 8 koalas under a veil of secrecy. The gunnedah community believe this to be an unjust event and we feel it was nothing but a publicity stunt by the RSPCA and the Animal Rescue TV show at the expense of Nancy and Colin Small who have cared for native animals in our area for 30 years.

To the honourable, the speaker and members of the Legislative Assembly NSW , the petition of residents and concerned citizens of gunnedah and surrounds...

Brings to the attention of the house the injustice and callousness of actions taken by the RSPCA at the waterways wildlife park, gunnedah.

The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Legislative Assembly to immediately undertake an investigation into the circumstances and actions of the RSPCA and concerned persons involved in the raid and subsequent removal of koalas from waterways wildlife park, Gunnedah on Wednesday the 3rd of February 2010.

The In support of Waterways Wildlife Park, Gunnedah petition to legislative assembly of NSW was written by kelli johnston and is in the category Animal Rights at GoPetition.
