Family Home to be Surrounded by Car Park at Wyong

The NSW State Government is building a 200+ space carpark directly on our northern & eastern fenceline, in the Wyong Racecourse. Our home will be the only house affected, we are approx 4 meters from these fencelines. We are told that this will have no impact on us.

It will be 24/7, all day, every day. This car park is supposed to be for Rail commuters in Wyong, it cannot be seen from the station, commuters will have to walk up a hill &/or cross an adjacent road to get to station. There are other options available. The Government & all its representatives have not answered one single question properly from us; we are told ‘you can have a new back fence’. Who authorized this carpark to be built in the racecourse, (no answer). Why would there be no impact on our lives?

Why would the Planning Minister say we were ‘consulted extensively’, we were given a 1800 number to call, sadly this is a message bank & calls are returned to us at their convenience, emails are sent to a mail@ address and then passed on to whoever they feel should receive it, all this is considered ‘consulted extensively’. They are about to destroy everything about our home that we love, the position, the convenience to us, our outlook, our piece of mind, our security, our sense of well being, not to forget the devaluation of our home. Help us save our Home.
