Recently we have asked Epping Forest District Council to consider the idea of being included in the Freedom Pass scheme. They have said no citing expense and yet have lost money from central government which could have gone the Freedom Pass scheme simply by not using the money.
We ask them to reconsider their decision out of fairness to Pensioners on fixed incomes and to encourage such people to use public transport.
