Hemp is the most useful plant known to man, and yet it is illegal.
Its oil can be used to run cars relatively free of pollution.
Its fibers are better for clothes than cotton.
It can produce milk.
It's oil yields plastic 10 times stronger than steel that can be used to build things such as cars and trains.
The plastic is biodegradable.
In short, it is ridiculous that this plant is illegal and the ban must be overturned.
We the people of the United States declare that the ban on hemp be reversed. Hemp’s incredible usefulness has compelled us to gather as one and demand that our right to grow this plant be upheld.
The institutions which receive our taxes are servant to our cause. Growing hemp is harmful to no one, and can only benefit the human race and certainly the United States, and so our government has no cause to make this plant illegal.
The United States is a government for the people, by the people. The people have spoken and these are our wishes. The ban on hemp must go.
