Residents of Lemington Ward have expressed disappointment that Newcastle's ruling Liberal Democrats have pressed ahead with plans to build houses on a number of sites in Lemington Ward.
We, the undersigned, demand that Newcastle City Council withdraw plans to build council housing on Burnham Avenue, Warkworth Street and the former Lemington Middle School.
This land is owned by the local community and we demand that local people should have a say on any future uses.
