Prevent The Placement of Modern Art Sculpture in Yakima's Historic District

Background (Preamble):
The Front Street District Association is attempting to place a large modern art sculpture at the front of the Old Train Station located at the end of A street. This type of sculpture is neither congruent or appropriate for the revitalized Historic District in maintaining the integrity and character of the Historic District.
Such a sculpture would be better placed in an alternate location in the newly developed area within the downtown core, such as the hotels, condominiums, and/or convention center.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the City Of Yakima and the Front Street District Association to cease in placing a modern art piece in the Historic District, and maintain the character and integrity of this historic area.
