The decision has been made NOT to close the bridge to traffic - this petition, along with individual objections, was instrumental in the result that the majority of residents supported. Thanks to everyone who signed and supported the campaign.
We, the undersigned, oppose the proposal to close the bridge to traffic making Street Hill/Church Road and Ashurst Drive/Church Road into No Through Roads.
We Petition West Sussex County Council and their employed consultants, Amey, to abandon the proposal and seek alternative traffic calming measures.
