The Moncton Boxing Commission has initiated an unwarranted ban on the sport of MMA for at least 6-months, it has revoked the licenses of a local promoter who has built the fan base greatly by offering highly professional events, as well as the manager of the largest MMA Professional fighters stable in Eastern Canada who questioned them over their ever changing bylaws and lack of support for this sport.
This commission is totally unqualified to oversee this sport and has demonstrated their refusal to consult MMA experts from this sport over officiating and MMA matters, basing everything regarding MMA on their experiences from boxing, a sport that is vastly different from MMA.
Lifting this ban will not offer a solution to the heavy handed actions of the commission, the ever changing rules and bylaws, the unqualified commissioner or his B O D and chosen officials.
The only effective solution is to hold an election to replace the current commission with a more modern informed and pro-mma commissioner and BOD.
Show you support to force the City Of Moncton to demand an immediate election on this matter.
