Lift the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Ban
This petition was published by Adam M. Mutchler on Aug 29, 2009
We, the undersigned, call on the United States of America, to eliminate the ban of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy and to allow any and all prior discharged veterans administratively separated due to this policy, be properly restored to re-enlistment status if they so choose.
As well as to allow all homosexual male and female service members alike, currently on active duty, reserve, inactive reserve, or any other type of service not listed herein, be allowed to openly admit their sexual orientation, whether gay, lesbian, or bisexual, without any form of retaliation.
If anyone were to retaliate against any such service member, that they be punished to the fullest extent of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
