Background (Preamble):
Over the past few years i have rescued two pedigree dogs, both females. They had been overbred and went on to develop subsequent health problems.
I wish Kennel Clubs world wide would all join together and demand breeders only bred their dogs when:
1. They are of age. Not too young, not too old.
2. When they know their puppies will go to a loving and caring home.
3. Breed twice and no more. Then retire the dog and let her enjoy the rest of her life, intsead of trying to pass her on because she doesn't make any more money for the breeder.

Pedigree dogs rarely make the headlines when it comes to animal rights. Yet females are often used and abused to produce puppies then dropped when they have a bad litter or take sick.
