Israeli Citizens say YES to President Obama's settlements freeze demand

Dear President Obama:


We, Israeli citizens, support the general principles of your administration’s Peace initiative in the Middle East and on the Israeli-Palestinian issue in particular.


We support your just demand for the immediate and absolute cessation of the construction in all the settlements and the dismantling of all the illegal outposts in the West Bank, as the initial phase in a process leading to a just and durable Peace for the Palestinians and ourselves.


We call for an immediate cessation of the demolition of Palestinian homes in Jerusalem and in the "C" zones throughout the West Bank, and for the cessation of the widespread abuse of Palestinian citizens on their own land!


We implore you to unflinchingly ignore the delay and diversion tactics of the Isaeli government, which in the past have proven highly effective in fortifying the settlements’ expansion project.


President Obama - your policy is supported by nearly half of the citizens of Israel; please hold steadfast to the principles of your well defined policy for progressing towards the so urgently needed Peace!

אנו אזרחים ישראלים התומכים בעיקרי מדיניות השלום של ממשלך במזרח התיכון בכלל ובסוגית הסכסוך הישראלי-פלסטיני בפרט.

אנו תומכים בתביעתך הצודקת לעצירה מיידית ומוחלטת של הבנייה בכל ההתנחלויות ופירוק כל המאחזים הבלתי מורשים בגדה המערבית כצעד ראשון לקראת הסדר שלום צודק ובר קיימא בינינו לבין הפלסטינים.

אנו קוראים לעצירה מיידית של הריסת בתים של פלסטינים בירושלים וברחבי הגדה המערבית, ולהימנעות מהתעמרות באזרחים הפלסטינים בארצם שלהם.

אנו מבקשים ממך להתעלם לחלוטין מטקטיקות ההשהיה וההסחה מצד ממשלת ישראל שבעבר הוכיחו עצמן להפליא בביצור פרויקט ההתנחלויות.
