We have been made aware of the termination of Melissa Huyett's employment at MZCS. As students, alumni, and parents of students educated by Mrs. Huyett, we are saddened.
Mrs. Huyett has provided quality Biblical education at MZCS as well as personal support. She has also integrated more math, English, writing, science, social studies, and computer skills to better prepare her students for high school. Mrs. Huyett has faithfully overseen the production of the annual yearbook and has helped with the student worship team, as well as leading worship for the student body on Friday mornings.
In this secular world, Mrs. Huyett has offered Godly counsel and influence to students. She has been a trustworthy, God-honoring teacher and friend to many.
We, the undersigned, call on the Board of Education, the Board of Elders, and the Pastors to reconsider the termination of Melissa Huyett's employment at MZCS.
