The International Media has been banned from covering the events in Iran. The Internet, the text messaging services of the mobile operators as well as the mobile network have been shut down by the imposed Government of Mr. Ahmadinejad.
Our people need the support of the Media and actual and live coverage of the events to have their voice heard and to be protected and to be able to speak out their wills. The actions of the government prove nothing but imposing its power and control of the media and state on the people.
We want the United Nations to take immediate actions and request the government to open these channels!
We the undersigned, hereby sign this petition and call on the United Nations and all Governments of the World, to impose political pressure through a written resolution on the government of the islamic republic of iran to give an end to imposing a ban on international media coverage, limiting the means of communications of the general public of iran and filtering various internet and information means.
