Keep Polyvore

What is polyvore? Polyvore is a web-site. Made for mostly art, fashion, and just design of any sort. People all ages go on and put together collages or "sets" of various items that they "clip" from different websites.

Now some people (artists mostly) are becoming angry with their art being "clipped" and used on a different web-site with either out permission or being used at all.

BUT. When you "clip" an item it goes back to the source it originated (the artist's website or post), ALSO. Most users give credit or say that they did NOT make that specific piece.

Now, artist are trying to make polyvore get shut down. And for what reasoning? Because their art is being advertised? Their work is being spread around the globe and they are making a name for themselves? Or is it because they put their art on the INTERNET (which obviously is already a bad choice if they don't want it taken/used.) and they expect no one to use it. Not even for enjoyment and not take it as their own?

Now you tell us (people of polyvore) why should we be shut down for this nonesense. Please give us some legit reasons.

But for now. We will stand together just as we always have and we will stay strong no matter what.
