Rumors have been floating regarding furlough days over the weekend. There has been no update given to us with regards to situation. The membership has been kept in the dark about the situation. This is unacceptable.

Due to the handling of the furlough days and the absolute lack of communications we the signed membership state a petition of no confidence of the leadership of the Meriden Federation of Teachers' Union.
