Virginia to take over the private roads of Dogwood Valley subdivision

The Private roads of Dogwood Valley Subdivision in Stanardsville Va. have been neglected for three years and the citizens association claims that there is not enough money to fix them.
Due to insurance liability the property owners can not work on the roads as a community project. Late or unpaid fees cannot be collected due to insufficient funds. Many property owners do not trust the board members and fear being taken to court if they speak up on certain matters. The roads run through Saddleback Mountain and are in an extremely rough state.
The property owners would like to have the roads taken over by the state but were told that this would cost alot of money. Because the roads are driven by many taxpaying individuals we feel that the state should take over these roads for the safety of these individuals.
We, the undersigned, call for the State of Virginia to take over the private roads of Dogwood Valley subdivision, in Stanardsville, Virginia.
