my name is amanda i have 3 kids my youngest son who is 7! was at birth diagnosed with neurofibromatosis they are tumors on the body that affect many organs many complications can occur at any un given time such as stroke, certain types of cancer, brain tumors, and learning disabilitys you can check out ctf.org stands for childrens tumor foundation proper medical care is not readily available 100% where we live and we do not want to move unless neccasary we have lived in the same house for ten years
we the undersigned are asking action be taken by providing public funds for medical travel expenses to help pay for gas to and from an appointment as needed, easily and readily available if the medical appointment is outside the residing state of the patient. persons seeking the public fund should be required to provide proof of diagnosis, and proof of appointment. we are calling upon government officials to make these funds possible and available for persons who are parents or guardians of a chronically ill child or adult who may need special care outside of their residing state thank you
