The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority has proposed the elimination of the B27 (Bowie-New Carrollton), B29 & B31 (Crofton-New Carrollton) bus routes by June 28, 2009.
This petition is to be presented at the WMATA's Public Hearing No. 538, on this and other service cuts on Monday, April 13, 2009, 6:30PM, at the First United Methodist Church in Hyattsville, Maryland.

We, the residents, riders, family, and interested parties, petition the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authoriy to maintain the Maryland bus services of Routes B27, B29, and B31.
We respectfully request a reconsideration of the WMATA Proposed Service Adjustments and the General Manager's Proposed FY2010 Budget Docket B09-3, to accommodate an already underserved community.
