Save KKR ex- captain and Indian Cricket icon, Sourav Ganguly from Malicious Motive of KKR Coach John Buchanan and team owner SRK

On behalf of --- Indian cricket lovers, Kolkata Knight Riders’ supporters and millions of fans of former Indian cricket captain Mr.Sourav Ganguly, www.welovesourav.com and its fraternity, world cricket fraternity and finally countrymen we bring this very disturbing issue into the notice of Sports ministry of Govt. Of. India and Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) with a very strong demand that -
1. BCCI with the help of ICC should take an exemplary action at IPL with an immediate effect, so that in future none can play around with the very basic contour of cricket in name of innovation and strategy and malign game’s ethics and etiquette.
2. BCCI should also be extra cautious about its iconic cricketer’s dignity so that none can really malign their image in name of business or franchisee model compulsion. After all such iconic cricketers are demi god in the Indian sub continent and once their image is impacted negatively, Indian are emotionally affected quite greatly.
3. KKR Management must take necessary exemplary action against John Buchanan’s theory for ridiculing the ethos of cricket and should dump ‘four captains formula’ and recent volte face with immediate effect and reinstate Sourav Ganguly as the only captain of KKR for IPL 2009 like IPL 2008.
4. BCCI and Sports ministry of India should take a note of the fact that an obnoxious nexus between a section of KKR Management and its Director of cricket operation, John Buchanan is trying to malign the image of cricket by debasing it to a circus with some clownish comments and action. The sanctity of the game should be maintained at any cost and it should not be replaced by just entertainments and gimmicks.We also fear that in the long run Knight Riders' wants to shift its base from Kolkata and this is a deft attempt to begin the process.
5. Mr. John Buchanan has to withdraw his weird ‘four formula’ of captaincy with immediate effect through a press conference otherwise Kolkata, Bengal and KKR fans will boycott all KKR matches.
We appeal to all true Indian sports lovers to sign this petition and forward the same to others to save cricket as a game and Kolkata Knight Riders’ as a cohesive team.
More over Indian sports hero and national pride –Sourav Ganguly’s image as a captain should be up held, bolstered and saved from the malicious captaincy theory of a foreign coach and an Indian national like SRK.
