Background (Preamble):
The Cadet and Junior World Championships will be held in Belfast this April. This is one of the biggest events in the fencing world and for the first and possibly only time will be held in Ireland.
This is an event that should allow us to showcase that fencing is alive and growing in Ireland. While fencing in Ireland is still relatively small we should field as many fencers as possible in order to help further the development of our young fencers.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the Irish Fencing Federation to select additional fencers to allow for maximum possible representation for the above named event and to further the development of our cadet and junior fencers.
