Mr Merrick Stedman have been jailed in the state of Maryland for almost fifteen years. He was only 17 years old at the time. Mr. Stedman cost of incarceration is almost 40,000 per year to the state.
Mr. Stedman is a citizen of Jamaica, he will be coming up for parole sometime in the near further.
This petition is for the parole board to parole Mr. Stedman to his detainer and deport him back to his country of residence.
We, the undersigned, call on the State of Maryland Parole Board to parole Mr. Merrick Stedman to his detainer and deport him from this country.
Thus saving the state about 40,000 of our tax paying dollars per year.
