Beef O'Brady's restaurant in South Patrick Shores has applied for a liquor license authorizing sale of liquor to patrons at the business establishment.
This establishment is located within immediate proximity to neighborhoods including Lake Shepherd Estates and Tortoise View Estates and Villas.
Some homes immediately adjacent to this establishment are within 10 feet of the building. Permitting this restaurant to obtain a liquor license will compromise the integrity of the family residences and neighborhoods including those with young children as the sale and consumption of liquor is associated statistically with increased complaints and crimes including disorderly conduct, noise, theft, and violent crimes.
We, the undersigned, call on the Brevard County Planning and Zoning Office to deny the Conditional Use Permit for Alcoholic Beverages for On-Premises Consumption for the property owned by Scorpion Properties, LLC, located on the west side of South Patrick Drive, approx. 300 ft. south of Tortoise View Dr. (also known as "Beef O'Brady's").
