The West Senca Town board is trying to cut the summer program for the children by closing playgrounds in certain areas.
We, the undersigned, oppose the closing of the West Seneca Parks Programs.
We strongly feel that such a move is not justified by a reasonable examination of the costs involved, in terms of the quality of services, impact on safety, accessibility, and the loss of good role models.
We ask that the West Seneca Town Board re-commit to the children of West Seneca and preserve a valuable program that can effectively serve our community for the upcoming summer year of 2008.
